Hey 290 Design family! First off, thanks for being here!
We are a mama owned boutique that opened in January of 2022 after becoming a first time mom to a special needs kiddo! I went from a full-time nurse to a full-time mama and personal nurse to our son.
I was struggling finding my identity within the new challenging days of motherhood. I needed something that I could pour myself into that was truly for me. As a new mom, fashion was rough. Nothing fit, it was uncomfortable, it didn't fit my vibe, etc. I am a down-home, comfortable mama. That is where 290 was born. What started as trendy, cute graphic tees-- quickly grew into a full boutique.
We have now been blessed to be open for 3 years. We have opened a storefront, added a mobile boutique camper, many employees, and have gained many new friends along the way.
Our customers understand how important it is for me to showcase that we are mama owned. My kids are my top priority and I love incorporating them into 290. Our mission at 290 is to show that everyone has a place within our family-- the college girl learning who she is, the new mama trying to find her confidence, the seasoned mama looking for the trendy styles, and all the other beautiful ladies in the world.
