Q. What are your best tips for the holiday season?
A. Keep first things first and don't allow the pressures of the season to stress you out! Family & faith are more important than having the perfect holiday!

Q. What are your featured items this season?
A. I have a new line of original art wood plank signs and holiday ornaments! All of my products feature my original artwork!

Q. What’s your best holiday shopping advice?A. Start early! I love it when I happen upon a perfect item for a loved one, and can tuck it away until the special holiday!

Q. What’s your favorite part about being in this holiday show?
A. This is my first time to exhibit in the KC Holiday Boutique, and I am super excited to be a part of this show! I have exhibited my artwork in Art and Craft shows for many years, but this will be a first for this type of show. I am so excited to connect with new people and share my artwork with them!

Q. What’s your favorite Christmas movie?
A. The Holiday

Q. Is there anything else you think folks should know about your business?

A. I have loved artwork all my life! My mom was an artist and art teacher, so I grew to love the creative process from an early age. I pursued my love for art, receiving an art degree in Graphic Design from the University of Kansas in 1983. A few years later, I shifted my emphasis from design to painting. Through my paintings, I attempt to capture my interest in family life and the beauty of God's creation. I like to use bright colors, pay attention to detail and incorporate scriptures and sayings into some of my pieces. I enjoy meeting people and find that I grow as a person and as an artist as I gain insights through connection with new people!

The Holiday Boutique is coming to the Overland Park Convention Center November 14-17, 2019. With hundreds of vendors, Julie Hammer, you're sure to find something for everyone on your list. Buy your tickets online and SAVE $2
