Inspired by the trailblazers that have made their own path, Cactus Creek
curates a range of inventory combining the love of the Wild West and grand adventure, with urban style and modern conveniences. The result is an affordable collection of clothing, home goods and vintage stock inspiring the souls of modern day trailblazers. The inventory also includes cowhide rugs, which are Cactus Creek’s biggest seller.
Fancy T. Smith opened Cactus Creek 16 years ago in the barn behind her in-laws home in Lenexa. She eventually moved to Weston, Missouri where Cactus Creek had a couple of locations before finally landing in a 1910 building on Main Street. Fancy lives above the shop with her 3 boys, resulting in constant fun and craziness.
In addition to the brick and mortar shop, Cactus Creek has a permanent location at Restoration Emporium in KC's West Bottoms. The company also does "road shows" across the nation all year long. Recently, Fancy opened a shop on wheels for local events like festivals, flea markets, or even straight-to-the-customer personal shopping. The big truck is called the Cactus Creek Trailblazer, and it is has been a work in progress - finally on the road after many long months.
